Morning Everyone
If the Watts linkage bushes wear I have read that there will be a knocking noise, mine doesn't do that but it has scrubbed a rear tyre on the inside edge, a friend suggested this could be the watts. I have had the tracking checked and its spot on. Any ideas?
Both are good, td5 is more civilised, especially auto, but a bit more expensive at the pumps, you should get a really good 300 for that money, there are also some very nice td5's in that price range. As a daily driver the td5 would just get my vote.
Td5 or v8? if its a diesel expect around 25mpg, That mileage is very low. The diesel has a timing chain not a belt, I'm sure these are old style wiring. Diagnostics for DIY are Nanocom or Hawkeye at about £300, pro tools like the Snap On Solus Pro cover them quite well if you have access to...

You can get a brand new one for around £320 and if you don't want the fog light cut outs it about £260. You will have to paint it though, or just leave it black.
