Hi I`m after a bit of help & advice with some hawkeye codes on my td5 and their meanings & could`nt see anything after a quick search. After getting the three amigos come up after going down a bumpy road, I discovered my n/s/r hub sensor wire was a bit loose. I decided to buy a hawkeye to make sure it was the only sensor that needed replacing, after previously forking out £60 on a diagnostic test as I`m going to keep the disco for the foreseable future. anyhow these are the codes I`ve got from the hawkeye.
4045- rear left sensor, air gap too large. Can this adjusted closer/cleaned ?
4085- Driving sensor n/s/r. This is the previously mentioned loose cable so I assume best to replace whole hub? as from other threads it seems false economy just replacing sensor.
4086- intermittent sensor output during driving n/s/f. may try cleaning it first or as above ?
4134- Motor speed input, short or broken wire. What am I looking for with this
If anyone could help point me in the right direction i`d be grateful & also if anyone wants to come & use this i`m on the hertfordshire/cambridgeshire border
