I have just purchased another RR I will probably spend a fortune on lol. Bought it as a non runner. The key was faulty so I’ve now got it running. But yesterday it lost all drive no noise or anything. When I select drive I hear a slight change in the transmission noise. Then when I try to engage...

On the same car but a different subject...... My rear wiper won't run constantly when switch is pressed in. It works if I hold switch in manually. My question is....is the rear wiper switch a "latching switch" or "non latching" ? If its latching then my switch is faulty? But they as rare as...

Funny you should say that Datatek. I am going to drill out the 10 pop rivets that hold the board in the casing to see if I can see anything obviously blown/burned. I'll let you know.

EAS sorted!! I had the chance to buy an EAS ECU for £100. So I bit the bullet and ordered it, as I'd checked everything on the wiring/connection side. Just had no feed to compressor relay from Pin 8 on ECU and that should be 12V as soon as ECU recognises 500 RPM from alternator. Fitted...

Thanks for that. I'm going to try that next time. Problem is that I'm working outside so weather is a major factor on how much work I can complete. Must be goin soft in my old age. LOL

I refitted my EAS again yesterday, system still not firing up? I put a gauge at the reservoir and pressure built up to 10 bar in about 5mins. They only way I can get the system to run and car to raise is by feeding pin 8 on C331 ECU connector (slate/yellow) wire to feed start side on compressor...

Thanks for the feedback. I have checked the diaphragm solenoid and it works when I probe it. But as pwood says I need to recheck it when its refitted to car. The diaphragm itself looks OK? I've been told the two bits that make up the diaphragm can be replace by a single item a green diaphragm...

Afternoon all. I have traced the air pressure loss. The air is coming out of port 9 outlet which I think is the exhaust line? The system won't run at all unless I feed the compressor relay light green wire. So there is more than one fault on the EAS system. But even then it only goes up to 16PSI...

Morning all. I have finally refitted the EAS assembly and reconnected all the pipework (that was previously plugged off to all air bags) system will not run? I have pin tested all connectors at C331 ECU connector. I have a few questions about my readings? Pin 8 goes to compressor relay terminal...

Cheers I'll give it a go when I refit the EAS unit (when weather improves) I don't fancy the idea of cutting lengths of tubing to use as spacers.. cheers

Afternoon all. I have overhauled the EAS compressor and now getting 13.6 bar at the compressor outlet port. So that should be good to go now. I also resealed the valve body.......what a job that was took me all morning LOL. Will I need to make the calibration spacers to reset the system when I...

It’s my brothers car. He took it to some place in Bury. But I’ve heard of the place you mean. I took an L322 there a few years ago they were helpful and reasonably priced. Cheers

Many thanks for the images, there are two types then? I know ours has the reservoir pressure switch in the valve block and not at the reservoir. I believe this is the later type as fitted to P38? Cheers

I've ordered a pump repair kit and valve body seal kit, so I'll fit these parts when they arrive. I will bench test the compressor once I have repaired it. I have pin tested all the wires at C331 & C332 connectors and checked the relays and all seems in order. The car was taken to a local LR...
