OK found got a local garage to hook it up to a Solus, there was an over boost and EGR error showing. EGR removed so I guess that error is normal. Overboost error removed and didn't come back after a quick test run, got them to double check waste gate etc and they said it seemed ok...

    Free Beer - Hawkeye/Nanocom

Guys n Gals.... After a couple of weeks battling to get the Landy back up to speed, I have decided to get it plugged in! Is there anyone local to Horsham/Dorking who would be willing to plug her in to a Hawkeye or Nanocom to see if there are any faults showing... In return I will be...

    random leak

I work on the basis that as my Landy is as watertight as a sieve, if I can seal inside or out always do both! :D

    random leak

I sealed the roof joins with some Tiger seal inside and out. These would allow water to collect in the inside gutter which would run out over the GF :D when I went round a corner or downhill...

Not too sure i understand what you mean by this?? The turbo boost kicks in at lower speeds and if I am at 40 in 4th will pull happily with turbo up to 55 when i have to change to 5th. Turbo is still there but almost as though the engine has no more guts left.

Don't think so - have managed to get it to 70 today but thats foot hard to the floor and going down hill. as soon as i lift off it slows off very quickly even if you are still going down hill....

It would just be nice not to be over taken by a Focus towing a caravan! Not too sure on the Sedimenter... will have a look. Have ordered the Turbo hoses and will see how it goes, shame I left it a bit late to get them in time for the weekend.

Yep they are pretty soft - shall go for replacement hoses too. I'm kinda blind as to what top end should be like but I am assuming I should be closer to 80 than 50?

Seems ok below 60, can feel the engine pull and turbo kick in and out etc. But she has done it since I bought it in October. Now the weather is nice and I can get outside thought I would try and fix it. Air filter is clean and in good nick. Not checked the fuel filter, is that an easy ish job?

Hi Gals n Guys... Been lurking in the background for a while plucking up courage to post...:o Anyhow been using the search function and Google to try and get my Landy back up to scratch. I have no top end pull, can hit 60 at a push but she won't budge past that, almost as though 4th and 5th...

Can anyone recommend a cheap and reliable mechanic around Guildford, Surrey?

I use Matt Staff from MSS developments, he is an ex land rover engineer plus does a lot of his own custom builds. Wouldn't dream of trusting anyone else with my cars! He is based out of Horsham but is mobile

Hi all, Having been converted from the Jap 4x4 scene to a true machine I took the plunge and bought a 90 TD5 HT in October (so had it for the snow :D) I have been lurking in the shadows for a little while reading up and learning about these machines but thought it was about time to pluck...
