you have to alter the mounts. i am doing this but the other way round. i am putting a diesel engine into my V8 90. i have to get a different gearbox and move the mounts.

hi, and welcome. for this price you can get a very decent TD5 landy, second hand obvoiusly, and with v. few miles on her. (if you spent 15K) have a look around. make sure you find a clean one that has not been offroaded (unlike mine :D) a good bargining point on landys are dents or scratches...

My landy is having trouble starting the batteries are fine, and when i turn the ignition it clicks, now i reckon it is a sticky solenoid in the starter motor, where is this found on a V8 engine? whitch side is it on? Cheers, Rob

hehe, common fault with landys. a lot of tractors have the same probelm. but its nothing to worry about... only an electrical fault.

it is worth getting someone to look at it first before you buy it. this does not cost too much, and it is well worth it.

nice one. i think the high price is because of the milage. it has a high milage for a landrover... (i have not known one to pass 200,000 without MAJOR work done) so, im guessing it is the milage. is it a diesel?
