you have to alter the mounts. i am doing this but the other way round. i am putting a diesel engine into my V8 90. i have to get a different gearbox and move the mounts.
hi, and welcome. for this price you can get a very decent TD5 landy, second hand obvoiusly, and with v. few miles on her. (if you spent 15K) have a look around. make sure you find a clean one that has not been offroaded (unlike mine :D) a good bargining point on landys are dents or scratches...
My landy is having trouble starting the batteries are fine, and when i turn the ignition it clicks, now i reckon it is a sticky solenoid in the starter motor, where is this found on a V8 engine? whitch side is it on? Cheers, Rob

nice one. i think the high price is because of the milage. it has a high milage for a landrover... (i have not known one to pass 200,000 without MAJOR work done) so, im guessing it is the milage. is it a diesel?
