    the coolant temp is certainly due to a failed (or failing) thermostat replacement is a bit fiddly but not difficult - the issue is space down the side of the engine Just be grateful that the Td4 has a timing chain and not a belt :)

    i would protect electrical connections even if its a diesel washed our 320d and it ran like **** until the engine warmed up and dried out the electrics..............

    Just put my 2003 Td4 through the french MOT passed ok the guy just mentioned a bit or surface rust underneath where the chassis has been grounded Good for 2 more years :):)

    Could be the electronic throttle valve - this should shut when the ignition is turned off If it's not working right it could also upset the normal engine running hence the mil light....

    splitting manifolds is not so unusual - check out some BMW forums A new one is expensive though i believe !!! Maybe the scrappy is the best place to go for a replacement

    did you install the fuel pressure sensor ??? maybe you should check the boost pressure - if you are short of air this will show it up - any simple OBD ready should let you monitor boost pressure. you will have to do it on the road though - full right foot in 2nd or 3rd should give max boost...

    sorry to hear of your woes can i suggest that you actually completely disconnect the synergy box and see how it runs. that way you can maybe see if there is a fundamental problem with the car. It may also let you find any bad connections in the synergy connections that could be contributing to...
