Yea, the PO has taken the innards out of the fob in an effort to fix it. Its not stolen!! Like i said i bought it on a whim and planned to move it on but the underside is remarkable. The woman said it ran fine till this happened. I only want to get it running for the minute to see what its like.

Hello. People slam the old 2.5 TD engines but they make a great conversion for the series Land Rover. Unlike the TDi which can eat gearboxes. You will need the overdrive box though or fit the LT77 5 speed. This conversion makes it sweet to drive everyday and hget 25 to the gallon. Ta

Its not an LT85 Santana box, its an LT77 Series box. I believe Santana was just the name as it was built in Spain. I have recently had an Ashcroft rebuilt LT85 box for my 1985 V8 90 and am very pleased. Ta Terry

Its worth considering reworking your own chassis. cutting out and flush fitting patches rather than plating over and getting your own chassis shotblasted and galvanised.Unless of course the chassis is a basket case.
