No it wasnt slippery, It was down to finding out this noise, I also noticed when pulling off from the lights there is a delay in lock from the transfer box, like a thud where the gears are engaging. So when I engaged Diff lock this was basically eliminated, making me think my Transferbox is on...

Equilibrium throttle amount.. when your not accelerating nor decelerating your in an equilibrium sort of state, a constant speed on flat ground kinda. .. yes.... i was over 50mph with diff lock on... im scared now... btw I only bought my landy two months ago.. ive only gained diff lock...

If these rims are the -35 offrets. Then you would actually be ok lock to lock. You would indeed have to do a full camel cut though! But they would fit.
