On Gems you dont get anything on the injectors to be honest Eric is bringing his bosch over next weekend so we can do a comparison hopefully will get some screen shots to post have to say so far its good on hvac and eas and becm but need to do a bit more anyone in the area welcome to use

Right boys chap off here came over with his 2001 p38 hooked it up and bingo reads the lot have to say bit miffed as he got more info off his Bosch than I did off my Gems but goes to show that the Lynx will work on any vehicle of that type .

+1 afraid it is a mechanism out inspect repair or replace

+1 the readings are irrelevant unless you are comparing from last readings mine vary quite a lot get the cable and software from Datatek and calibrate using a steel ruler then use the readings as a reference point - good luck

I had a similar problem a few years back and it was a combination of two things one was the cable to the starter was corroded inside and second was the fuse board guess the cable to the starter is the cheapest at about 6 quid from a motor factors

As has been said I had to eventually replace all the battery cabling as it was corroded internally started by doubling up then just replaced the lot and reseated all earth connections there are a few :D:D

As a total lay man on this electrickery my wonder is this the latest version which I bought a few years ago is a mod of the previous version /versions is there any way of modifying the older version to work as the new? Probably not but worth an ask .

Yep on drivers side one was fooked one needed re calibrating

I have just replaced the drivers side and have an issue with passenger which is that if I put it on demist it locks on hot however if I set it to 22oc it re positions itself ?? anyway it is working so I will change it sometime

Bought a replacement from ebay for £35 same colour and in perfect nick took 20 mins to replace

Put it on diagnostics first it will give an indication of where the problem lies
