Found out why I have no r134a

Thanks Lads, Two sizes? I can only see one code STC3679 for sale? They must come with O-rings. If not do you know what they are made from? I can most likely get a selection from work!

    EAS Calibration Issues

I made them out off nylon rod, asked for 30 mm, nearest was 31 so I just cut them to length. Had to jack the chassis up just enough to get them in, then just asked the air suspension to lower itself past the height you want the readings for. Check its sitting on the blocks then ask for the...

    EAS Calibration Issues

You need to be on a level ground with all the tyres at the correct pressure. When you put the values in for the height the ecu tries its best to meet them within a few numbers. The live data will give you an instantaneous value and it will be a few increments out if set up correctly, uneven...

    Heater Temp Sensor position

Beat me then I am afraid, You sure its not low on gas so the duel pressure switch isnt healthy. When you get a hot day the vapour pressure of the gas increases and could make it healthy. You would show up a clutch circuit fault then though I presume? Sounds like you know more than me...

New one its then? Cheers Wammers.

    Heater Temp Sensor position

Sounds like you still have an evapourator temp sensor fault, how much are they? easier to change than taking the hevac unit out. Can you test the sensor with a multimeter from known resistances for temps? Just hazarding a guess at what I would do. Also does testbook have live data? perhaps...

    lpg

Mine was Cheap even with the LPG system fitted its a 1996, RR cost me about the same as it would do to fit a good LPG system. But you need to take somebody with you with a knowledge about LPG or read up about how a quality install should look like and function. I am afraid there is quite...

Found out why I have no r134a

Thanks, sounds simple enough, just got to get a new one/repair. Anyone know where I can get one repaired on the wirral? I think there is a radiator repair place on the m53 eastham junction so I will try there first. Replacements are about £80 on the bay so if its not cheaper than that it aint...

Found out why I have no r134a

Connected upto the system ready for a vac out. Put a little bit off gas in to pressure test. POOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFF. Bottom of the condenser. Is it easy enough to change, just thought I would ask, see if anyone has any pointers. Cheers chaps

    lpg

I heard another myth, I thought anyway. From a independent 4x4 mechanic. It went like. Don't buy a lpg converted v8. When people lpg convert them they trap air in the block and it causes the block to fail near the airlock because it overheats! I think there are loads of lpg converted RR out...

    lpg

Mine has just come up to 125k. Same engine, had the block tophat linered. Whilst that was being done I stripped the heads, valves in excellent condition, not pitted or damaged in anyway. Crank was as new. If it wasn't for the block it would have been going strong still in original form (was...

    Heater Temp Sensor position

I was running without the temp sensor working for a while. Heating fans used to take ages to come on when in auto, now they ramp up slowly and come on when the system gets hot. My outside temperature sensor is knackered because it reads low -40. Then sometimes ok. So need to change that too...

    Heater Temp Sensor position

I am not going mad then! had the doubt there because its difficult to remember what position I was in under the dash when I felt which pipe was hot.

    Heater Temp Sensor position

Wow, this I will have to check, I was sure my bottom pipe was the feed, v8, so common sense would say stick it on the feed. Does the diesel feed enter on the left from the engine bay? V8 enters the dash on the right. This should determine the position. It's got to be on the feed.

    Heater Temp Sensor position

I wondered this? Turn her on and felt which one was the warmest and stuck it on that one. Heater inlet, bottom one.

p38 brakes just failed, poo nearly came out.

After doing all the changes since the failure, first thing in the morning the brake pedal would feel ok but would on the first press, click. I am was guessing that this was air stuck in the system somewhere and had found its way to the valve block. Stuck my little syphon pump syrindge...

    blend motor or hevac problem?

Cheers Druim. Spliced in a new blend motor today which seems to have sorted the fault. Can force it any which way with the nanocom. Just got to refill air con and see if the clutch fault goes. Fingers crossed. Cheers for the help chaps

    P38 Off-Road Equipment

I think in the future I would buy some offroad equipment for the P38. I had the same problem when looking for offroad stuff for the unmentionable jap. For me the p38 would be great for greenlaning, but in order to stop leaving bits here and there I think my first buy would be some bumpers...

    blend motor or hevac problem?

Think I have just ruled out the nanocom, thank god. Just had it connected to my mates hevac ecu to read his faults. His right hand blend motor was the only thing that worked, forced ok. Come on blend motors land on my door step.
