All my Series motors have had 14" wheels, usually Mountney. One has a 13" and even that was ok, even if a bit of a workout when stationary!

They're one of the few motors that it's better to track down a low spec model than a top of the range. Low spec, far fewer leckky bits to go wrong & then they int as bad as people make out if you're careful & git a good 'un. That said, I'd go for a higher spec Disco of a similar...

So you'd have to get a lower spec model, miss out on a worthwhile safety feature & ter be honest there's loads of other bits to grab hold of to get in & out. ;)

Nope, fully qualified ter bust it as orften as I wish. :D Enjoying driving it as is, but frunt valance & rear plough need ter come orf & it wun't be long before it gets matt blacked and toyed up a bit. ;)
