    chassis rust proofing advice please

Hi it has just moved into our garage so no more oil on the drive! Possibly! I'll have to look for the drain holes again, don't think I've ever seen any. I've looked into buying a rust remover to spray into the chassis, but they seem to need wiping off then over painted, no use for inside the...

    Series 3 electrics problem

Still think there's something odd going on, light goes off with a few revs on, battery is getting charged ok, the only thing wrong is that when the light fitting is pushed into the dash it - with ignition on and or engine running - it is fully lit all the time. If the metal part of the dash is...

    Series 3 electrics problem

hi knowledgeable ones! Why does my charging light only work if it's not fastened into the back of the dash? I.e. Plugged in it's on all the time. Hanging loose it works as it should. Why would it be earthing out. Rest of dash is ok. Some background is needed - my Landry seems to be a series 2...

    Series 3 Dizzy play

Timing done. Runs well, just need to increase the revs, it's got a Weber carb and the linkage won't adjust any more, it's idling about 550 rpm!

    Series 3 Dizzy play

Cheers mate, I don't think there's any side to side play, I didn't notice any anyway..... it's running fine, since I adjusted points, so I'm not going in the dizzy cap again! I'm going to check the timing if it ever stops raining, then I'm shutting the bonnet till Xmas!

    Series 3 Dizzy play

Went to change the points and rotor arm in the series and when I tried to adjust the points, noticed I could twist the central shaft loads, a good 25 degrees. I guess this is not good. New dizzy needed or will an electronic points conversation solve it. Was going to get one of those anyway as...
