    Range Rover Classic Starter Relay

Check that you have reconnected the starter exciter wire, it is easy to miss this. It is a thin brown wire with a female connector on the end. If you have, make sure that the spade end is clean and bright with no corrosion.

Ignore the info in the ad stating the years that they fit. The picture is what you get with the round plug fitted. They came from China in 6 days, pretty good delivery time also fitted with bulbs. I don't know how they can sell at this price and pay for the postage.

    Classic Front indicators/Sidelights

Front Indicators/Sidelights. I am sure that some of you have seen the indicators /sidelights on eBay for £33 a pair. I have just bought some and there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. Considering that one Marreli light is double the price you can not go wrong with these.

I bought it in 1998 with 25,000 miles, it has only just over 48,000 miles. The speedo broke last year so changed it. probably one of the lowest mileage around. I am fortunate that it has no rust anywhere on it. It has a new bonnet as the AA leaned on it one day. Mind you it is a bit like...

The roof was badly dented and the sunroof did not work anymore so I swapped it for a roof with a glass sunroof. Could not really match the existing paint so painted the complete shell in Aston Martin Chiltern Green. Did not put the side moldings back as I think it looks better without.

At the bottom of the frame is a welded round bracket 30mm diam that the bolts screw into, you have to tilt the frame slightly to remove it.

    REAR DOOR GLASS FRAME REPLACEMENT

There are two bolts on each end of the door shell two bolts inside the door just below the arm rest bracket. one of the bolts is at right angles to the frame and fits into a small angled plate fixed to the curved part of the door, this is for the rear doors. The front ones are only fixed with...

Those 3 holes are the fixing holes. Inside the holes are 3 Phillips screws, where I suspect you are having problems is you have to insert the screw driver in the hole at an angle not straight on. You can see the taper in the hole showing what angle to insert the screwdriver.

The original console fell to bits and that is a replacement from a later model. I don't have air bags but I did wire in heated seats to the buttons.

These lamps only come on when the headlamps are on main beam, maybe that is your issue.

    Classic Front fog/auxiliaries

The lamps are bolted to a bracket fixed to the inside of the spoiler. I think it is 18mm. Unplug the lamp and remove the lamp from the front of the spoiler. There are two Phillips screws, one on each side of the lamp housing, undo these and pull the plastic back from the glass lamp. The bulb...
