The rubber is only a finishing trim as the D1 screen is bonded. I'm insured with Flux and they replaced all four pieces of trim.

There's no need to weld the chassis - it's mint! :)

Do it yourself. I do the inside of my chassis and sills with 50/50 mix of old oil and waxoyl - probably every two years. I'm working my way around everything else with a 2" brush. Very slow but very theraputic and it means I do a visual on absolutely everything on the underside. OSF wing...

Unbolt your old seat from the runners. Bolt a slab of 6mm ali on top of the runners. Bolt any new seat on top of that! Result! :)

Look great but I'd lose the 4x4 Response sticker, it detracts from the simple colour scheme. You could always get a black one. Is that why the wheels in your profile are mainly black? A man after my own heart. :D

Cut the bridging strips and fit the carpets with seats and cubby in place. Saves a lot of aggro and the carpet stays in place fine - mine's been like that for years.
