If you can source and buy one before they get exported from the armed forces then you are doing well. Very, very few of them are sold onto the civilian market. They are heavier and often are not hard-top. Nice accessorys though...

Did you have any heavy duty mechanical immob like a Disklok or clutch claw fitted? Against the pro's it's hard to stop them but having it wired up to the mains is what some do. Yes I know it's technically against the 'law' (statutory) but in my book so is 'allowing' a crime to take place. ;)

At the time I was in the middle of the countryside, many miles from a welder. I had all the kit to hand and for such a tiny hole it's not major. It's nowhere near any structural point I can see (ie towing bit or a welded join).

They must of been brave taking on a disklock! You need a 900 Watt +++ grinder (normally petrol driven) to get them off!
