yes...the pump and injectors are different. pump.....electronic vs mechanical injectors........higher secondary pressure @280 atmosphere (EDC) vs lower secondary pressure @300 atmosphere tried running the EDC injectors with the mechanical pump, and result was not as good, so got myself a set...

All Jap import should have the sensor injector. In fact the injectors are slightly different: standard : primary pressure 200 atmosphere, secondary 280 atmosphere edc : primary pressure 200 atmosphere, secondary 300 atmosphere So, I would think the higher secondary pressure led to the EDC...

anything can be made to fit....!!! you do realise defender have squarer arches while disco's are rounder ones......so, even if you make it fit....it will not look the bussiness, IMHO...

Instead of replacing the throttle position sensor, I replaced the electronic injection pump to the mechanical one....effectively getting rid of the ECU/EDC system...and the disco drives so much better now...with a tweeked pump anorl...!!!
