Will Defender arches fit on my Disco?

Im getting clearance issues with my arches, I want to cut out the rear where the plastic trim used to be but Im a but warey as its a 5 door and will mean cutting the outer seal of the rear doors off!

Can I fit Defender arches and cut the rears so the doors open or is it worth getting the flexi arhes Ive seen on the interweb?

Has anyone cut the rear arches away on a 5 door? is it a no no or meh.. whats the worst that can happen?

anything can be made to fit....!!!

you do realise defender have squarer arches while disco's are rounder ones......so, even if you make it fit....it will not look the bussiness, IMHO...

i agree with kings on it not looking right and if memory serves me correctly someone did post a how to on fitting flexi arches on the disco

I got loads of photos somewhere, is pretty easy most scarey bit chopping through both skins of rear doors leaving a big gap!!
Make sure you wear protection when using the grinder, there won't be any sparks with aluminium but still results in plenty of sharp bits of metal flying about
