    Lift kits and suspension

Hi and welcome, I'm guessing here but if the 1996 in your user name is reference to your date of birth, then as your still a young_un a 4 inch lift or any mods for that matter will probably increase your premiums dramatically.

What transfer box have it got?!

I'm not really up on my 101's but that looks remarkably similar to the lt95 underneath my 2 door classic. Which would be the standard all in one gearbox/transferbox.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Getting seriously fed up with it now. I noticed that the transmission tunnel was getting really hot and I knew there was a few drops of oil around the gearbox so assumed it was getting low. So I drained the oil and changed the transfer box gasket. I wondered why I had less and less room to...

Took it to the garage for a tune up as I'd been struggling to get the timing set properly, turns out so did the garage. New cam will be needed in the not to distant future. :(

So pub meet soon then? You can come and meet Mak the freshly painted Range Rover, also sporting proper size wheels and tyres again. Preferably before all my gearbox oil drains out through the handbrake :(

It was originally red, then the bright orange that you can see bits of on the wing, then an inch thick layer of the green. The grey scuttle panel is the colour that it will eventually end up. the other sides a bit better 3 of the panels are done'ish. I've got a couple of woodworking projects to...

I doubt it, you haven't seen it yet. My Dad kindly took it into his work and got one of the guys there to finish the welding and got it through the MOT. Looking to take Turbomans most colourful award away though.
