Hi everyone, just got my first Landy (and in love) was wondering what lift kits do to insurance quotes? How much would a 4inch kit affect my quote prices? Many thanks!

Hi and welcome, I'm guessing here but if the 1996 in your user name is reference to your date of birth, then as your still a young_un a 4 inch lift or any mods for that matter will probably increase your premiums dramatically.

Yup about to turn 19, have a heavy list of upgrades listed with an Adrian flux quote coming in at 2400ish so you reckon the lift will add to that?

All you can do is call them and find out. And christ 2400ish  I mean, I'm not exactly old but I'm glad I didn't have to spend that sort of money on insurance.

Nice disco BTW

I know it's a joke, spend months saving and getting my dream truck with literally everything working perfectly and the healthiest looking service history ever with endless plans for it only to be hit with an insurance quote like that, but oh well just gotta build up a no claims! Thanks for the help
