i suppose so but it will clutter my yard & not got time to mess with scrappers,would fix up as engine was sorted 2 years ago starts/drives just got no spare time not enough hrs in a day m8

from leicester ,on m5 gather you went south prob kernow,?some bad hills over/by bodmin remember blowing a top hose off my 91 (j) 3.9 vogue classic towing my van abt 16 years ago oh the good old times & to top it off it peed down all week :(
:eek: the bong sort of makes you scared to look at the message centre :D every repair on mine has never been lower than £500 :( had my 4.4 vogue almost 6 years & prob spent 4k in repairs & its only on 106k now, ive had a hatric on the gearbox :(imo they all fail
transponder lost/broke the blade will turn door lock but if it aint talking to the car when key in ignition your going nowhere or even getting it out of park,try resyncing your key first.
fitted new crank sensor + maf on the p38 thor today both bosch (£200 the pair ) not bad imo. runs nicey nicey now :).. ive binned the chin+se maf which is prob a month old & scrap unless you like using loads of fuel & permanent fault codes.
could be maf kev , really needs pluging in,they suffer from blocked pcv valves which can cause rocker gasket leakage, this then leaks oil onto a plug which would cause a misfire
