    Actually it is the Nissens 70230 you want, not the 70220, as it has the correct sized inlet and outlet to match the P38, 19mm.

    Alternator warning is usually a sign of poor earthing somewhere (assuming the alternator is in fact OK). You may also get the gearbox error or overheat as well for the same reason.
