What did you do with your Range Rover today

Just back from a quick trip. Perth, Skye, Berwick & lake district. 1,455 miles in five days. Didn't miss a beat.

Upgraded from Freelander to P38a now I have issues

Considering the cost of the alternative I'd suggest at least three fluid changes. I should have realised that I was heading for trouble when I found a date written on the filter in marker pen. It was about six months after the car was first registered.

Upgraded from Freelander to P38a now I have issues

Others discovered that doing the first ever fluid and filter change at 110,000 miles resulted in fitting a new gearbox at 115,000 miles. Ouch!

P38 mpg and range display problems.

If the multi-plug isn't pushed home firmly and squarely then you get these figures - so I'm led to be believe!

P38A Scratching head - eas one high corner

Remove the timer relay, the tall one under the passenger seat. With the car no longer able to self-level when turned off this will show up if you have a leak elsewhere and, if the battery still flattens, show whether it's the EAS that's flattening the battery or if you have another issue.

    Fonts

I'm having real problems with font sizes and density in this new format. I'm viewing this on a 19" screen but am struggling to read a lot of the smaller print. Between it's size and the green colour used I am finding that I am straining and last night developed a headache trying to read a lot of...

    red triangle

Unless you mean getting my Kodak brownie photographing my computer taking the film to Boots for developing sticking a print in an envelope and mailing it to you then no, I haven't got a clue what you're talking about yours, from the dark ages Dougie

    hi to all

Morning all I'm never sure if I'm South West or not. According to the guys from Devon & Cornwall I'm probably somewhere in the Midlands but . . .

    red triangle

Where has the red triangle gone? How do I now wake up BB? (apart from driving up the M5 carrying a pointed stick) Is it the rather faint 'report' at the bottom of the post?

    P38A Bulbs

Yup If it keeps happening frequently I'd start at the BECM and check for dampness or corrosion on the plugs. Think of it as good news, considering what a rogue BECM could do to you. Even if you can't see anything wrong it's worth pulling every plug and re-fitting it a couple of times. They've...

    Northumbria Water Land Rover Defenders

Don't believe that a company owned / leased vehicle will have been correctly serviced. Recently I was talking to a software company who supply their services to fleet users. Some of their stories of 'repairs' would turn your blood cold.

    Auto gearbox oil change

Haven't got the quantities to hand but remember to always check that you can get the filler plugs out before you drain anything, especially if it appears that no servicing has been done for a while.

    2.5 td autobox playing up

So if you're lucky there's nothing breaking up or crunching itself inside. So fresh fluid and maybe some Lucas might do the trick. If you're having issues re-fitting the sump you might want to think of pumping it out through the dipstick tube.

    2.5 td autobox playing up

What did your sump magnet look like? Were there any obvious 'bits' in the old fluid?

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Serves you right for driving a Jeep. If you had a Range Rover you wouldn't be suffering these issues. Many, many other wonderful problems, but not these :D
