I've tried searching but can't find the answer - help!!
Front near side corner remains high and the others gradually. Using my nanocom it originally indicated there was a problem with the height sensor on that corner. Bought a new sensor from main stealer and fitted it - still the same problem!! All the nanocom says is 'unknown fault' (or words to that effect). Arghhhh!
The only thing I haven't tried is swapping the two front sensors over!
If it's left for about 3 days the battery dies, which I assume is because it's constantly trying to sort itself out.
Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.

Battery sound more like the RF receiver. Check if yours is the latest with the 2 boards at right-angles inside.

IIRC there is more than 1 type of height sensor. Wammers or one of the others should know though. Year and model?
 
2000 dhse & should be correct sensor as from main stealer. Only since the sensor error have I had battery drain.
 
Remove the timer relay, the tall one under the passenger seat.
With the car no longer able to self-level when turned off this will show up if you have a leak elsewhere and, if the battery still flattens, show whether it's the EAS that's flattening the battery or if you have another issue.

Yes it needs adjusting to the correct height. It will be giving a different reading to the ECU than the old one was. It needs to be adjusted.

I have made alterations to get the heights equal all round (inc new sensor) but it has still done the same. It doesn't matter if you leave it in standard height or access, it still drops over a period of time except the one corner.

Then you have leaks, find them. System should wake up every six hours when the car is inactive to auto level. If you have a leak in one bag it will lower the other three to try and match the low corner. But only drops about 8 mm at a time. A drop of up to 15 mm in 24 hours is regarded as normal.

I will check for leaks but the problem is that one corner is not lowering! Which to me is not saying leaks. The bags were all replaced with Arnott Gen 2 about 5 years ago.

As Wammers says, pull the delay timer and see what happens. It could be one of the airlines has a pinhole. Sometimes the o-rings where they go int he bag get pinched and leak a bit too. But you need to exclude the possibility before looking upstream and it is the cheapest and easiest thing to do first.
 
So timer pulled and sure enough it dropped on the same corner. Went round with the soapy water and can't find a leak, the bags look almost as new.
What I can't get my head around though is: if there is a leak then why does it still drop one corner, or more to the point why doesn't it level to the lowest point? The opposite corner always remains high, timer in or not!!
Any explanation on this much appreciated.

No idea but until someone more knowledgeable comes along, here are some guesses / experiences:

One of mine was leaking where the cap goes into the bag. I hit a monster pothole at 50 mph. Of course, after the warranty on the bag had gone.

Other options: has someone had the valve block apart and put a solenoid back in the wrong place? If so I'd have thought you'd have a world of trouble though.

Another option: height sensor(s) not reading correctly and it keeps trying to adjust it to something it cannot reach. Maybe the height sensor(s) itself is loose and wobbling about?

I cannot remember if you said what year your car is. I think the later ones only adjusted a certain amount and then stopped. The further back you go the more it seems to adjust.
 
teshman has EAS low on a corner, you have high on a corner..... hmmm maybe a fix for the pair of you is pending !!
