Servo fitting for Stiff clutch knee pain

This looks like a really good solution to the problem SWMBO has driving my D2. It looks really straight forward to install, and once myMOT is sorted might well be my next project. Is the vacuum hose for the servo just teed from the brake servo?

Disco 2 owner looking for advice

Welcome. How long have you had the D2 - there may still be 'features' to uncover ;)

    SRS Light

If you can get the fault codes read, they will tell you exactly where the problem is. There are a number of possibilities, with the under seat plugs (Driver and passenger), and the steering wheel rotary coupling being the most notorious on Discovery 2's at least. Mine was on constantly, and was...

Other what have u done on ur disco today

Well - obviously for sale at an incredible price at a local boutique gallery. I'm sure @BravoNovember couldn't possibly allow pictures to be posted online, as it would reduce the potential sale value.... Meanwhile - I have fitted the stupidly expensive bit of foam called a pollen filter, and a...

    Greetings from the Caribbean!

'tis true - but it's a bit like our village - unless you've been here at least 40 years, you're still 'new' :D

    Greetings from the Caribbean!

I'm only new here myself, but welcome. I think it's interesting that resprays in hot countries (Nice job BTW) seem almost normal, whereas here in the UK it's quite a 'big thing'

    Scrap or Keep ?

Does everything else work, and is it in good condition? I've just spent best part of £1000 fixing lots of 'little' things - each of which cost £15 - £50 each to replace. Your engine can be brilliant one day, and toast the next. If it really is all good, then repair it. If it needs LOTS of other...

Insurance on 90 for 17 year old w/ Black Box. Can I GREENLANE???

Yep - been doing the same since about 1985 myself. I have read the GLASS code of conduct - and it (Mostly) is common sense - still I suppose some people don't have any - and need it pointing out to them. That was always the best thing about Leaf Spring Landies - you couldn't go too fast, as...

Insurance on 90 for 17 year old w/ Black Box. Can I GREENLANE???

Yes - it's the 'probably' that's interesting isn't it - particularly from the OP point of view. I presume nobody would generally get anywhere 60 mph on 'normal' green lanes - although I've seen some trying on parts of Salisbury Plain. Personally, I wasn't actually after a code of conduct, but...

Insurance on 90 for 17 year old w/ Black Box. Can I GREENLANE???

As a complete aside, and matter of interest, what is the speed limit on a green lane (Given it's a public road). I can't think there is one. Given the lack of a speed limit sign on each side of 'the road' when changing speed limits, presumably it's not enforceable anyway ?

    Disco 2 Td5 cruise control

It's very straight forward isn't it. I remember being stunned by how easily it all just plugged in, and worked. Nothings ever that easy - but it was!!

Disco 2 Disco 2 Driver door lock broken

OK - I know this is a REALLY old thread, but....@Neilly - Silly question time. I'm in work, so can't go and try this out myself.... and I need to remove my drivers door exterior handle to get the lock repinned. Is it just a case of undoing the single Torx screw, pushing the handle toward the...

Diagnostic tools for Landy - I am confused.

Is it still possible to buy additional vehicle unlock codes? I spoke to Bearmach and they didn't seem to (or want to) know - as they now only support the Total.... (I saw a Hawkeye Classic somewhere (Island 4x4 maybe?) at a bargain price, but couldn't work out how to buy an unlock code for a TD5...
