Hi. Has anyone ever done a repair on this before? Can I get a new bit and weld it on?

Can't get the rear door open on a disco one I've just bought. There's some of the mechinism has be stripped out already also there's a big gap at the top of the door and the bottom is sitting on the foot grips. Any ideas would be great?

Hi. I've just bought a disco one as a project. I'm gonna start at the sills. What's the best way to go about it? The bottom of the vertical pillar has rotted away. Also do I have to take the back panel off? It's a 3 door and if so what way do I go about taking it off? I'd appricate any help on...

Anyone know where I can get a new hi low lever housing?

I did place it in the vice but I damaged the mating surface for the gasket. Does this really matter? Will silicone seal it up again? Also do I have to take the end cap off to free the shaft up or will the shaft be seized to the end cap. Sorry for asking stupid questions

Got the light fixed. The wire was cut and I needed a new switch. I've another problem when I apply the hand brake the brake warning light is coming on as well. Have you any ideas?

Wire must be cut somewere mate no joy. Is the wire easy to trace?
