OP, my coil gets hot just with the ignition on so I would say that's relatively normal. @Extreedoc good work on the advice. Having been in similar positions to the OP before I know it can be both confusing and frustrating even with help.

It attaches to the brake bias valve if you have dual line brakes. The valve is located in the front drivers wing.:) The wires head off to the centre console Brake check warning light.

I've been a CLR subscriber from the off. Really enjoy it. I was sick of all the expensive bolt on bollocks endlessly whored in LRO etc. They are more adverts that content and not relevant for my interests.
