sorry but that's not true, my v8 mains came loose after 15000 miles! started with a small knock 500 miles later a louder knock then 250 after that it went quiet and then 200 after that catastrophic engine failure when the crank ripped out of the block

I do about 40 miles a day going to work and then longer journeys at the weekend, Ive done about 8,000 miles in the 6 months Ive owned this one.
It's great for towing our caravan on our jollies and even doubles as a hutch for our rabbit!!!
I have always gapped piston rings at 120 degrees it is to prevent any loss of compression by leaving an easy path for the compressed air to escape, I've never had any problems

sorry I had in my head it was the pump for some reason! It doesn't matter same difference if the pedal went hard before the servo was fitted then they probably needed to take the master cylinder off so they probably havnt bled it properly
