Is this a good idea? Anyone know why the Defender TD5 doesn't have one? Point is it seems i am losing some pressure resulting in sloppy performance and I have read that you can just bypass it without causing other issues. Alpine greetings Simon

Yahoo! after the service and the fluid change, also did all the filters, both oil, fuel , air and so on and she drives fine, next job that waste gate issue , i'm going to just bypass the modulator like on the defender .. thanks guys

No it was not running .. Yes it will drive in 1st but only very slowly My main concern is that i did something like not properly plugging in loom connectors properly .. but i guess it wouldn't run right?

Everything worked out like the book, also took the radiator off and flushed it, replaced thermostat, cleaned the intercooler. It took a few turns and a little waiting until the fuel was up but She started and it runs fine.. So what now, running in? is that even a thing on this kind of head...

It was all going so well, did the change put it all back together ran her up all good. Then she sat for 4 months until this weekend when my Disco TD5 threw a head gasket. Ok no problem, put 6 liters of new oil in the S3 and off we go .. no wait .. the oil pressure rose to like 100, WTF...
