Flywheel removal without a puller!

Ok the time has come, the gearbox is out and I have to remove the flywheel .. nope it’s not shifting.

anyone got a handy trick?
I’m going to remove the starter to be able to hit it from behind to get it moving and the use the clutch plate bolts to wiggle it off..

Just smack it with a hammer from all directions for a bit, it will probably come off. A puller does no harm, and they are quite available second hand.

To avoid confusion, I have reported your post, in the hope it will be removed from the Stolen Land Rovers section.
