Looks like I got the cheap arse mirrors, no wonder it wont fit. May try and cut out the middle plastic that stops the unit going all the way onto the "stump". Where do you get the proper mirrors, its hard to tell on fleabay what type they are

UPDATE: New relay fitted, all sorted. :) The pins were pretty corroded, probably coul have just sanded them and plugged it back in, but hey ho im pleased. Cheers for the input peeps

its either on or off, in fact ive only seen it come on once in the last week, scince i noticed it. Not dimmed or anything

the ****part glow rods arrived today, so will test em and fit them in see if that sorts it. Will report back when done

The wife could hear the relay click but i couldnt from the cab. Il check the relay points and if nothing happens il try your tip Got new plugs on the way, I guess it cant hurt to try a new relay as well

Hi. Please bear with me on this, I have done a fair bit of searching on here and other forums, but im finding myself getting confused after reasonable diagnostics (at my level) Imported Jap 300tdi with blanked off EGR. Starts fine all year, as soon as it gets to zero, its a pain in the arse...

Just received mine will fit today / tomorrow. They dont seem to offer much in the way of damping on the return (in your hands) like you say but when put upright and pushed down fast on they do. Il report back.

Have a 300tdi Disco, and want to put some sort of roof bars on it. However, have v little cash. Ive seen a few old style roof racks (that clamp to sills) down at the tip, but I think they look too squat to reach all the way over the rear roof hump. Has anyone on here managed to find something...

Rear door lock teases you by opening on the central but sometimes dropping the moment you touch the handle to open the door (oh how we laugh) Drivers footwell is sometimes a puddle, leak from base of pillar suspect the wing will have to come off. Anyway ripped out the foam so at least it dries...

What causes the rot here in the first place ? Not much point patching it up unless you know?
