Welder in north west - rear crossmember

Hi all. Just wondering if anyone knows of a welder as close to widnes as possible. Even better would be a mobile one as the 90 is SORNed and I can't get it on the road till this is sorted (plate on chassis between rear wheel and crossmember, or whole crossmember replacing), vicious circle...

    Accelerator Pedal Sticking

I had this problem a while back along a busy road which was fun. It turned out to be a small piece of plastic on the accelerator cable getting stuck in the grommet where it passes through the bulkhead. Just have a look for that, I think it's about a cm long and clear.

    wiring gremlins

The lights are earthed to the bolts that hold on my steering guard, all cleaned up and should be ok. Relay is earthed to the wing, again cleaned to bare metal. Switch is earthed to metal panel fuse box is attached to. I've checked every earth and no difference. I can't get to my battery as the...

    wiring gremlins

Yes, lights work as they should. I'm quite pleased with myself as far as that goes. Wiring goes: To relay: Battery +ve Switched feed from main beam Earth Feed to lights (both lights wired together and then to relay)

    wiring gremlins

I've used what came with the kit, except for 2 of the earths (relay and 1 light) could it be down to the crimp on connectors I've used or is that unlikely? I think the wire is 2.5 gauge, that is it took the slot marked 2.5 on my wire cutters to strip it. Thanks for the help, I know it isn't...

    wiring gremlins

    wiring gremlins

ok, so ive added extra driving lights to aid night time visibility. my only problem is that they are pretty dim, more of an orange glow. when i remove the earth from one of them the other brightens up and vice versa. ive checked all earths etc, but does anyone know why when they are both on they...

    Quick wiring query.

the switch on the dash is wired to the metal plate that holds the fuse box (a previous owner had earthed something there so though that was ok), the lights are earthed to the bolts that hold my steering guard to the chassis, and the relay is earthed to the inner wing (i think this is where the...

    Quick wiring query.

Got it all done, thanks for the help guys. Only thing now is that they are a very dim orange light. Is this likely due to them just being cheap £30 halfords jobbies (55w ring rectangular driving lamps) or a bad earth/connection somwhere? Thanks
