    Series 3 Kill switch

it is such a good cover, properly painted up truck, overalls and hi vis, anyone walking past doesn't bat an eyelid. whenever I have had a broken down car recovered, no one has stopped and said I hope you aren't nicking that.

    Young insurance

old series are cheap to insure for youngsters, afaik you can't have a classic policy if you are under 25 but classic policies don't accrue ncd either, my daughter had our series 3 for £800 via af when she passed her test, it came down to £650 this year but she has swapped to a cr-v for £1k with...

    Series 3 Kill switch

I had a petrol with a hidden switch once it would have taken a while for someone to find. as said, the main danger if you get your truck to the valuable stage is someone coming with a hoist recovery truck and just lifting it on to the back

    Series 3 crankcase pressure

It has plenty of that :D probably put it back to petrol - going off the chassis number it was originally petrol - what I save in oil can go towards the reduced economy

    Series 3 crankcase pressure

tonights dumb question, can incorrect timing cause excessive crankcase pressure? only ask as my 2.286 na s3 diesel has leaked oil from the top breather ever since I did the timing chain.

    Internal Spare wheel carrier

    Internal Spare wheel carrier

    LPG guru required

if it is a landy and you are anywhere near bridgewater this chap was excellent, he did my old suburban around 20 years ago talked much more sense than any of the significantly fewer installers that were around back then https://www.aandd4x4.co.uk/#

    LPG guru required

we went for a mid range system brc on my lads 4.3, iirc prins are more upmarket but not worth it unless you have an expensive big engine. but it was 3 years ago so things might have changed I would just talk to your local specialist installer see what they recommend for your particular vehicle...

    Series 3 Broken diff?

had similar, mine turned out to be sheared bolts on the diff crown wheel, first I pulled the half shafts they were both intact, you can replace the bolts assuming you can get the sheared bits out, I stuck a used diff off ebay on. Actually got a complete rear axle as that was the closest thing to...
