    Series 3 tunnel flange

those are two different ones. the one with the bolt holes you will only find on ebay as a used item afaik no one makes that one. the weld on one (the unpainted one in the photo) you should be able to get from yrm or Pegasus parts iirc.

Other Driving to MOT Test station while on SORN?

+1 you are allowed to drive there if it is pre-booked. however you can still be stopped by the rozzers and booked for having a defective vehicle if there is anything wrong with it.

    12V compressor recomendations

no cable length issues if you have a lead acid jump starter in the car. pump yer tyres up then recharge your starter via the cig socket as you drive :D never found a mini compressor that likes pumping up big tyres from flat and lasts. just stick a "flat mate" in.

    Emergency battery booster packs (Good/Bad?)

I like the li-ion ones because they are easier to carry around than the lead acid ones and as said can be used for charging phones, running laptops etc. Had a very powerful afterpartz one which my daughter nicked :D, it was better at cranking the series diesel than the lead acid ones I have. I...

    Compression test results

iirc anything less than 120 is supposed to be bad. guess it depends how good your tester is i.e. how close the readings are to what the pressure is. I just have a cheapo tester so I don't pay too much mind to the actual values but look for one that is significantly different from the others so...

    Tyres!

indeed, wouldn't travel without at least one spare. don't like changing at the roadside in all hours and conditions. having said that, I can count on one hand the number of times I have had a flat in 40 years of driving. wouldn't want to be caught short though. One of my first cars got a...

    Tyres!

+1 ^^^^^^^ tubeless is much better had 7.50 g90's on older series rims so they had to be tubed. cuts out using things like "flatmate" or a mini compressor to get you home or out of the middle of nowhere in the dark. no such thing as a slow puncture with a tubed tyre, once holed a tube is flat :D

    Hensey’s M57 powered series

    Tyres!

pic of g90 tread, iirc its the tread the mod use/used on the wolf (happy to be corrected on this)

    Tyres!

7.50's goodyear with the g90 tread, don't find road noise an issue, its not above the engine noise anyway :D +1 on lwb wheels, I have wolf rims which I think are 6.5j

    Series 2 Ignition not working

had a similar problem with my s3 diesel, if you turned the engine off when hot - say at a petrol station - and tried to restart, it would not crank but all electrics worked. if you put a power pack across the battery terminals still nothing, put the power pack to battery positive and on the body...
