Spot lights are not a testable item for the mot if they are seperately switched. Although if they are the bumper mounted pod type lamps like mine I would be hesitant to fit 100w bulbs due to the extra heat they develop in a confined space.....

If you have to pay someone to crawl around for you then I would guess it is around about the right money for an hours labour at most garages these days..... With regards to vehicles having come a long way.......... They are still suck,push,bang,blow.... And righty tighty - lefty loosey...

The tag can come off the window and or the wiring could be unplugged the window element could be damaged, the wiring from body into the door could be damaged, the control unit could be defective, a sensor could have failed, could be a fuse could be a relay. But as you are asking the question...

The fluid may be a good level but the switch can fail.......... Unplug it and see what happens.

Was it front lifted? Or flat towed. Or on the back of a truck? Front lift is ok if prop disconnected but a no no otherwise. Flat tow is fine for 5-10 miles at low speed. Manuals would be fine for more. On a truck is the best and won't damage anything. If it has been flat towed for 25 miles...

Handbrake light is also the brake fluid low level light..... Somtimes the level float in the reservoir doesn't float any more.......

Sorry Brack but It's not to prevent the blade freezing to the glass . It parks on the rubber so the window opens fully.
