Mine did that. Disconnected the MAF and it revved fine. New genuine MAF sorted it properly.

Land Rovers can tell the difference between a test with a hosepipe and real rain :) +1 for Cpt Tolley, especially the top of the A pillar. I apply Captain Tolley's and finish off with a thin layer of Sikaflex in the rain gutter.

Were the discs degreased thoroughly before fitting?

Oh, for sealing the gutters I run some of this along first and then finish off with Sikaflex. The Tolley's is thinner so gets down into hairline cracks before setting.

Many places to leak. I would check the sunroof to make sure the frame has been sealed to the roof properly, the seal isn't leaking and the drip tubes aree not blocked and connected (the connection can crack). Also the screw fittings for the glass. Top of A pillar on the gutter can leak. Roof...

Sorry, no idea on that one. I did mine a while back and managed to get genuine ones. I understand an advert on ebay seemed to hint at genuine ones with a picture taken against a genuine wrapper but it didn't specifically state if they were or just OEM / aftermarket. Not sure if it's still listed...

Cannot get genuine new seals now, only aftermarket. I'd take it out, reseal the frame to the roof and try a new seal. I left the glass in but opened them half way back and the seal went underneath quite easily.
