A bit of help for leaky discos

After totally resealing both sunroofs and securing both front and rear drains about 2 years ago, and applying sealant to top windscreen seal as per technical bulletin, a dry disco
Headlining recovered in the original coloured foam backed fabric. All reassembled and dry forever.
Or NOT!!!
For about 2 weeks now above the sun visors water has been somehow getting in every time it rains.
Not prepared to strip headlining out again I remembered something I bought a while ago for the caravan.
Applied a fair bit to all possible water entry points, windscreen seal, roof bar fixings and around sunroof frame. Let it dry and repeated a few more times. Also smeared some vaseline around sunroof to glass seal.
Just spent 1/2hr with hose on car roof and no leaks. Headlining dry.
If anyone has the same leakyness it might be worth a try. Pretty sure I bought it from amazon.

Thanks for that. I thought my Disco was watertight but I pulled up the front passenger rubber mat to clean it and the carpet was damp underneath.
No obvious leaks, and having left the mat out for a couple of days it seems to have dried out, but I think I need some silicone sealant at the obvious points at the top of the windscreen and maybe some of this all round to be sure..

I tried ours with a hosepipe and all seemed well until a heavy downpour a day or so later.

Land Rovers can tell the difference between a test with a hosepipe and real rain

+1 for Cpt Tolley, especially the top of the A pillar. I apply Captain Tolley's and finish off with a thin layer of Sikaflex in the rain gutter.

Well rain and thunderstorms forecast later tonight so let that test its watertightness.
If nothing else it will wash all the dirt and grime off, lol.

Still waiting for the rain to arrive.!!!
