looking at 2016..will be chatting up house..

thinking of fitting one in me 1971 rrc to replace the 4hp24eh what i need to know is ...the bellhousing from a 4hp will it fit the 5hp?and torque converter...will 5hp one fit the p38 flexiplate and fit in the 4hp bellhousing?(if that fits) you see i dont think there is a 5hp bellhousing to fit...

nought wrong with..apart from missing 4 cylinders..run open exhaust, you wont need any silencers as turbo kills the noise.. as said change belt. if dont start instantly walk away...same with smoke..(black ok as just over fueling) but white/blue =££££ lt77 excellent box,(so under rated) check for...

i would expect electricery wise its right easy..but making it look good???not so sure.. me i fitting some inteltronix gauges..the 3 3/38 speedo, tacho and 2inch fuel, oil pressure etc into me 71 rrc..going for the white ones..

dont worry about springs, they will be replaced..really i just so ****ed with hydraluic lifters i wish to fit solid..i dont mind adjusting every so often.. such a shame the japanese didnt build the rv8..me toyota v8 in sally red lines at 8k!(though i set rev .limiter to 7k..)..and no tappet noise!

bloody got a lazy lifter after 2000miles!!.best oil you can buy, kent cam run in proper, new lifters. rockers, shafts etc..never drive off untill got full oil pressure, never cane her untill warm oil.. lifter sorts itself out after 10 secs, BUT cant have that!! so as engine is rather high...

ok..tis time to rust proof ruby.. sally i spray engine oil all under and in chassis, sills etc..but its rather messy on the driveway for a week or so..but it works wonders!!ie no rust at all anywhere fullstop!so much better than wax treatment..(1971 rrc) now ruby (1971 rrc also)(as sally) has...

opps...for future reference unplug the ecu too.. now before replacing everything check your engine earth lead is still good...just in case..

yes but worth feck all unless defenders..one can buy the stuff to nick a new rangie off ebay for sub £100..takes about 30secs to get it started... seems strange that ebay will sell such stuff, but they do!

the su's do have a return to tank..atleast all mine have..inc lr110 and rrc's..its a little 6mm 1/4 pipe that returns to front of tank ..

just sling a large yanky lump with matching gearbox etc in..but still alot of time to do..(mating gearbox to transferbox)

thats fine..but its not you thats after turboing a 3.5.. the amount of work is massive, fabbing up headers,installing efi or modding cabs etc

missing my point... and yes i agree ehy/ because you can...but .cheaper easier just to throw in a 4.6...to get 250 from the 3.5 will cost lots....now if after power then boost the 4.6..do if proper like?
