Hello, I'm having a bit of a debate :fencing: with a LR dealer who apparently failed to observe that my 1996 D1 V8 3.9 did not have it's starter heat shield. Can any of the experts here tell me definitively whether this was a standard fitting to this engine? Many thanks in advance.

I think I have this cracked. It suddenly dawned on me that the starter motor heat shield was missing.
