Did the V8 3.9 come with a starter heat shield

Hello,

I'm having a bit of a debate :fencing: with a LR dealer who apparently failed to observe that my 1996 D1 V8 3.9 did not have it's starter heat shield. Can any of the experts here tell me definitively whether this was a standard fitting to this engine?

Mine has one too, and yes standard.

My rrc didnt and it screwed the starter. Fit one asap!

Mine didnt. I replaced the starter but think it was probbably shagged by then anyway.
