Got it back from Eric Kaye's in Thornton. 3 things were wrong with it. 1) BCU had wiped the key code from in its memory to match the fob. Therefore wouldn't unlock when fob was pressed. 2) The BCU had changed config to allow key in door opening only and wouldn't accept the fob being...

My insurance is expensive and I'm paying over 1k and I'm 21. Although it's due in March so I'll see if it's come down then. Long story short, you're judged on being male and an inexperienced driver. If it was going to be you paying out, would you give cheap insurance to a high risk customer?

Whoops. Forgot to update: anti roll bar corroded. Causing the knock. Garage replaced and is all good. Also had a judder/pulsing feeling through brake pedal and a steering wheel shake when braking. I replaced worn front discs and pads and it's as smooth as a porcupines toenail now under braking.

Receiver didn't make a difference. Been with an auto electrician all day and he's checked receiver as well, nothing's wet or corroded. No loose connections, keys are programmed correctly. Fuses all ok. Ran out of time today, will hopefully have an answer tomorrow. Fingers crossed, I feel...
