Thanks for your reply. Is yours a standard model though? Mine is a complete rebuild with a lot of modifications which means in terms of value it’s considerably more expensive than a standard one.

@Hicap phill Steering wheel, cowl and clocks were all off today. There’s a lot of wiring down there as there are a few extras on the vehicle. He did try that route but just couldn’t get the access he needs.

Yes and he assured me they’d be accessable. I’m annoyed with myself as much as him but it’s the first time I’ve done a Landy but not his.

@Hicap phill My Sparky has fitted a bloody relay and fuse down there for the front spotlights (and now they’re not working - great) and christ knows what else! He reckons he can’t get to it by removing the front of the instrument binnacle as he’s put it onto the bulkhead right down low, in line...

That’s not a bad shout but I think the max speaker diameter you can fit is 4”/100mm but I’ll have to have a measure up as there will be no speaker just the cover so I may be able to get away with a larger dia hole? Thanks for that, it may be a possibility.

1985 90 - RHD I need to create an access panel in my lower dash on the driver’s side, just about where I believe a speaker hole is sometimes located but on my dash there is no speaker hole. Unfortunately it’s all fitted in place (as well as leather covered) but my sparky has screwed up and so...

Cheers Flossie. I see what you’re saying but my parking post is already installed in the driveway so would be impossible to try and machine a hole through it (it’s a round post). I think a 75mm+ hole would probably weaken it too much anyway.
