defender 90 dash

Hi, just stripping my 90 down to repaint it and want to do something different with the dash, looking for inspiration anyone got any ideas

I recovered the top of mine as it was tatty> I used black vinyl but you could use any colour as it was easy and effective to do.

I've just fitted a Mud Dash to mine, notalot to look at, but if you like buttons and stuff it's OK. Certainly it's tidied mine up no end, just got to fix the tablet mount in now!

All the buttons are wired in, but the Front diff (I don't have one yet) is not connected to earth for the lights and the winch in/out only lights up when it's being used .. which I intend to add the extra earth so it's lit up when winch power is on. The fuse box is all the ancillaries, all run from a beefed up ignition on power source and a good earth inside the dash, but connected back directly to battery earth. Pair of light bars run via a pair of 40A relays, only other thing is I need a permanent 12v to power the memory on the radio ... it doesn't seem to work!

I went for functional but tidy with expansion possibilities ..

I couldn't afford Raptor, but yes, it's what I'd have gone for if I had the moolah. I was gonna fab up an alloy dash, but can't weld alloy! The Mud Dash came from sales on LZ so I got it cheaper than stock, brand new but unused or fitted ..
