is it possible to just change the key cylinder? is the ignition lock the same on left and right handed vehicles td6 or v8 ? What about progr. key?

Have some problems with my ignition lock.The key goes smooth in the barrel,but on the last stage it is dead.All control lights are ok.Sometimes i can turn it back to stage 2 and turn it on again,and then it comes.Could it be the ignition lock or some other things?Can i change only the key...

Do you know where i have to measure the voltage after the ignition lock?

Yippi today ingition lock is ok,but i got "hdc inactive" back 1-1 :) But it is all about battery and charging.My alternator gives 14,05 v. The optimal should be 14,4. I found a uk seller that takes only £ 185 for a new one,but he is not sure about the voltage,so i wait for an answer.

I have still no "hdcinactive" But the two last days when i turn the ignition key in position r.the preheating starts ok,but in the start position the motor won`t start.Some time the key would not go in the last position. What could it be?

I just installed my "new" mk3 drive from ebay.de . It startede up ok,but when i put in a destination,thedistance to my destination is totally wrong.The arrow is not following the road,and gets offroad.The voice tells me that i have left the road network.Is it some way you can calibrate or something?

Yesterday i went to the battery store to get a new sønnak/exide battery.I asked them to check my battery . I got the message that the battery was good,but it need a weekend with charging.Today i put it on charging for ten hours.When i was out driving today everything was ok.The battery is back...

Then were all the handles in it`s place.I think i buy some stainless scuff plates also.
