This is odd, I can't seem to find a front crank seal for the 4.0 V8 in my disco, I have the bits to rebuild the pump with but I can find the seal for the old V8 but not the updated THOR version, is it the same, if not where can I find one, it does not seem to be listed on the usual suspects sites?

Did you repalce the rockers? I ahve the same issue but I have read there is a steel insert at the pushrod end that can become loose when hot, so it won't be aparent when cold

Be carfull assuming the heater blower is working at all.. There are in fact 3 blower motors on the late hard dash, 2 of them only come on with the AC, the third is for the heater. If the blowers only work with the AC in the chances are the the heater blower is dead. If the resistor has failed...
