It honestly does bother me to see that you have to go back and forth with this oil consumption issue after all this while.....turbos are usually very hard-wearing components and even hold up on knackered engines which haven't seen half the love yours has. By all means, pull it off one more time...

If the injection pump for the 2.5NA is anything like the one on the 200Tdi, you should have an electric solenoid sitting on top of the pump head (the cast iron part the injection lines go out of). When you remove that solenoid, there's a spring loaded plunger sitting underneath. Remove that...

Verified if the fuel stop isn't stuck in the closed position? Fuel will flow through the pump body to return as long as it's been pumped in, doesn't necessarily mean some of it is getting into the head of the pump to be pushed out to the injectors.

While working on those pipes, you might consider upgrading to a proper modern finned cooler if yours still has the stock bog brush setup. Heat is the one thing that kills transmissions the quickest, especially if you have to do any kind of towing, and the stock setup is hardly up to the task.

Any reason why you'd want to change it out to the belt setup? Aside the noise tradeoff, I don't think the zeus setup had any major issues. Anyway, as has been said, quite a lot of people would be more than happy to take it off your hands.
