anyone know how wide is the injection pulse at idle,on a 4.6 thor v8?the injection time on mine is 4 to 4.2 ms,is this correct? or at least in the ball park?

take your aftermarket rockers off,if you look at one you will find that the oil groove in them is like the grand canyon compared to the originals.when I rebuilt mine with them,the oil pressure was 13 psi at idle and 35 psi running,i put back the original rockers and the idle pressure went up to...

did you put replacement aftermarket rockers in it?

i take it that this is a "gems" engine?

this is on my lpg'd 4.6 vogue,it keeps coming up with these faults,idle fuel trim bank 1 and bank 2 limit reached.however the o2 sensors are quite happy flip flopping between 0 and .8 volts so what's its problem?

I checked this morning(sad I know)with the local mot station.an srs light which comes on but does not extinguish is a fail...an srs light which doesn't come on is an advisory only...ie not a fail, therefore all you need to do is take the bulb out and it will pass

i'm with luckymark,they changed the rules again last april(I think)you can take the srs bulb out and it will pass.silly isn't it

well having removed the cam only about 6 lobes are ok,the rest are in varying state of decomposition,the sh+tpart water pump I put on at the same as the cam is also borked and the passenger side headgasket is leaking at the rear,also sh+tpart.i think I have learned my lesson,sh+tpart is sh+t.

I got the lifters from turner engineering who state they use the same on their engines,so I would presume they are good quality.
