New exhaust rubbers are dirt cheap and they will allow some movement, which stops the exhaust from flexing on the welds and breaking prematurely.

Replacing the bottom suspension arm plus bolt is a bit exteme you can drill the ball joint out and bolt another in. Least you can on my 'L' series.

Ming Are you makin' bio diesel or just cleanin' up veg oil and thinin' it with white spirits? Don't you need to add caustic and methanol to get it to go to bio ie from triglyceride to methyl ester. Or is white spirts caustic dissolved in methanol?

If you read some of the posts on this article you can see that there are lots of different views , all of them with some validity, and , also, people on other forums are just as abusive as us but with a lot less humour.

Just reporting in. Had the Colways on the Hippo for 15K now and they still look good for alot more yet.

This test seems to be invented to convince you to get the VCU changed I don't belive it, mine has been doing it for 40K miles and it's got no worse.
