Hi, the swinging arm will rotate freely round on the sensor to suit the other side, just need to swap the bolt over that secures to the chassis. When I swapped the 2 front sensors over the fault moved to the other side. The connections are all clean.

All senors seem to be in place, I beleive the car has to get up to 5-10mph for the abs system to check, but as speedo has also gone down for some reason? will also cause fault to show?

Can anyone please give me clue, even just to get speedo working again which may help solve ABS problem.

Hi, Just replaced all 4 air springs due to one leaking & EAS fault showing. Now raises & lowers fine & sits level overnight. But after driving 1/2 a mile ABS Fault & EAS Fault show on dash, all the lights flash on level indicator. Have also noticed that the speedo is not working! Its a P38...

Many thanks Guys Andyb66 & Eightenavee for all you help. It was the Crankshaft sense, managed to change it ! needed double jointed fingers to get the fixing screw out & in. PROBLEM- now is the ABS light stays on with ABS FAULT on dash + I get EAS FAULT with all the lights flashing on height...

How do I scope the sensors? I have a timing lamp scope but I guess you mean an oscilloscope. Problem is it will die before I can get it LR specialist. Thanks for your help.

Hi Andy, Thanx for info. She starts instantly & idles/runs fine, but then just cuts out when warmed up. I got AA out, he connected a spark plug to ht lead & turned engine out, but there was no spark, he couldn't find why. Then it suddenly just started. So it sounds like something get warm...

Sorry to be thick! what are obd tools? would a small local garage be likely to have them? If there are stored faults are they likely to present problems until they are cleared? can they only be cleared by specialised LR equipment? Thanks

Where do I find which wire to disconnect? If this solves problem, is it just a case of changing the thermistor? & where is it? Many thanks
