So, time has come to renew the insurance on 3 of my vehicles, all currently with A/F. Given some forum members experience i had no desire to be with A/F, no matter of the cost. So... My 2014 110 Utility XS - ideally i wanted to be with the NFU for this, i've never heard a bad word said...

So, Flux will sort things for forum members who kick up a stink on here... but still f**k over every other customer. Sorry, that doesn't wash for me, they are still loosing business for my 3 cars at the end of December when i renew them all. Will quite happily pay £500 more to NOT be with flux.

Yes, mine is a 2014 110 Utility XS straight from dealer, no mods (on the suspension / tyre front) - (although i have a rack, snorkel, etc. on it. With roof tent it sits at 2.45m :/

I think it is a calculated review based on mis-information - it says the tow bar limit is 100kg... really... so it couldn't even pull a fat man?

BMG757A was the earlier of the two used - it was still active and in use in September 2012 by the owner, though, he rarely takes it to shows.

It's called a balance beam - a friend made us one when he borrowed our hoist - it is a very simple item (long length of threaded bar, etc. ) but very effective and you can very easily balace an engine perfectly for installation :)

Connecting directly to it (all be it via jump leads) when on so by passing all vehicle electrics and still the same (actually it causes the heavy duty jump leads to smoke :/ ) Ah bugger, i didn't want to hear that - i've just paid to have a new solenoid put on it :(

If i take my starter motor off, connect to battery it works perfectly. If i put starter motor on, connect to battery it won't start. starter motor solenoid clicks in, not a lot else, occasional sluggish sound of it trying to turn, but, not a lot. Engine cranks over using socket on front...

Must be a pig to park the 110 there - with the turning circle of a 110 and the proximetry to the gate there's got to be a lot of shunting involved?!
