    Im on holiday at moment and am having to park freelander on a very steep slope , it appears that everytime I drive off all is good with HDC light and function until I get abour 1/2 a mile on the flat , does this help explain the fault ?ive ordered a new brake switch so am hoping thats the issue.

    Thats great thanks , I appreciate that . should a clip be on the cable which clips into the moulding or should the cable just press into a clip which is completely mounted on the moulding ? Im assuming if somethings snapped off the moulding then ill have to find another way to secure it .

    Thanks , yeah the flap is free , If I hold the outer casing and someone turns the dial its all 100% so I'll just have to try and work out of the clip is broken and if so try and attach poss with cable tie?
